JUNE 18' / A Golden Age

Reality is better than your dreams.  Never stop believing that you deserve the world... Demand the world and demand it now! Our June Collection, A GOLDEN AGE, is everything we need to be the best we can be...A GOLDEN AGE is feeling untouchable with the sun on your face and the breeze in your hair...Reaching for the stars and gliding up through the clouds. Now is A GOLDEN AGE.  It is time to live your best life.

We love the process of sourcing everything we need to tell the story of each collection we've designed for you. Location scouting, selecting our muse and working with our external creative team to pull together the story of each collection is a labour of love. Luckily for us, our HQ is in the beachside suburb of Clovelly in Sydney.  Some of Australia's best and most iconic beaches are literaly just around the corner.  The beaches are often central to our collection's stories and we are have shot campaigns along the coastline from Bondi down to Little Bay. 

We also have Sydney's beautiful Centennial Park right at the end of our street and is a special part of our daily lives. A great place for a run or a bike ride, perfect for a Sunday Picnic or a movie under the stars at the Moonlight Cinema in the summer.  Centennial Park is rich in history and the perfect location to capture A GOLDEN AGE. 

We shot this campaign on a cool and slightly gloomy May morning.  All eyes were on the sky hoping it wouldn't rain.  We were lucky, with the clouds parting and the winter sun shining through.  We have long admired these gorgeous stairs that look like they're full of history and thought they would be perfect for this campaign.  This location created a luxe but earthy feel, which we wanted to capture and compliment our rich colour palette.

This time of year is notoriously tricky to design for... We wanted to create a collection that would have you abandoning your trackies and uggs, and motivating you to tan... (your legs at least!)

The story for this collection is based around our exclusive A Golden Age print.  We loved the contrast between rich, warm tones and the fun flirtiness of the floral.  We chose a warmer handle base with a subtle lurex texture stripe, giving a luxe all season appeal.   We wanted to design a collection that is perfectly wearable, both now and into spring and beyond.  We loved playing with fun sleeve details, gorgeous laces, trims, splicing, raw edges and our exclusive Halycon Spot print.

A Golden Age centers around the perfect pieces for a pre-spring trip to Greece... classical yet modern.  The notion also comes from our firm commitment to living in the now.  All too often we put things off... booking that holiday, treating yourself to that facial, taking time out just for you.  This collection reminds us to live our best life right now.  No need to wait until summer to buy a cute new dress... You deserve it now.  Go on... we hope you enjoy!  xxx
