5 Scrubs you NEED to make this Winter
5 SCRUBS TO KEEP YOUR SKIN AMAZING THIS WINTER
Winter is definitely the hardest season to keep your skin looking fresh and healthy because of the cold air so we've put together a list of our go-to scrubs to give your skin the boost it needs and to give you an excuse to have a pamper night.
COFFEE BODY SCRUB
- ½ Cup of Coconut Oil
- 1 Cup of Ground Coffee
- Vanilla Essential Oil
Mix all ingredients until you have a smooth even texture. Store in an airtight container and use 1 - 2 times per week... or everyday if you're a coffee addict like us ;)
BROWN SUGAR & VANILLA BODY SCRUB
- ½ Cup of Brown Sugar
- ½ Cup of Coconut Oil
- ½ teaspoons of Vanilla
Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl and transfer to a cute jar for storage. This decadent sugar scrub is the best for exfoliating and will keep you smelling delicious.
HIMALAYAN GRAPEFRUIT SALT SCRUB
- 1 cup finely ground Himalayan salt
- 1 Tablespoon of coconut oil
- 2 Tablespoon of almond oil
- Grapefruit Essential Oil (desired amount for smell)
Mix all ingredients in a small bowl, until it forms your desired consistency. Transfer to a cute glass jar, and lather yourself in this amazing scrub for your next pamper night <3
Benefits: if not for the colour alone... this is one of our FAVOURITE scrubs! Himalayan salt is purer then sea salt and contains potassium, magnesium and calcium which helps to boost circulation and is the perfect post-workout pamper to help relax and recover your muscles.
PEPPERMINT LIP SCRUB
- 1 tablespoon of Caster Sugar
- 2 x teaspoons of olive oil/jojoba oil
- A few drops of peppermint essential oil
This peppermint lip scrub is just as softening as it is delicious, and 100% edible, YUM!
LEMON AND ROSEMARY SALT SCRUB
- 2 Cups of Coconut Oil
- 1 Cup Epsom Salts
- Approx 15-20 drops of Rosemary Essential Oil
- Approx 1 Tablespoon finely chopped fresh Rosemary
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
Mix the oil and salt, to a thick consistency. Add the essential oil, fresh rosemary and and lemon juice, mix well. Store in an airtight glass jar.
