SPRING 2018 / The Captured

Captured, desolated and stranded. Your lines pushed back to far flung islands. Your foes and enemies might think they've won, but the war is not over yet. Winter has held us hostage for long enough, so it's time to escape the heavy grips of the freezing cold and embrace every piece of sunlight that spring will bring. Introducing... THE CAPTURED.

Our Spring 2018 collection, 'The Captured' takes you on a journey of freedom as we escape the chill of winter and find ourselves breaking free and chasing the sun, while embracing and thriving off total freedom. Chayde Nettles (Viviens Models), fronts the campaign shot in our beautiful backyard at Maroubra Beach.  She is the boho damsel in distress who breaks free from desolation and embraces a time to gather her strengths to win the war. 

This collection was inspired by rich trinkets and treasure, collected from around the world that you will hold onto for a lifetime. Traditional English inspired garden florals and our finely delicate signature embroidery, anglaise and laceworks in soft pastel and neutral hues, form the pieces of the puzzle that bring this collection together. Don't be fooled by frill details and blush colour ways... mix this collection with black boots and bold accessories for an edgy elegance that will have you conquering the world. The perfect time to strike, fight back, checkmate and win. 

We live in the heart of Sydney's Eastern Beach Suburbs with Maroubra beach literally in our backyard, so this collection was heavily inspired by the desire to enjoy the sun and sand while feeling trapped by winter in our home. The Eastern Suburbs easily has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world (maybe we're a little biased...?)  We love the opportunity to get out into the sand and soak up the sun - even if we do need to shoot on a freezing cold day in the middle of winter... Chayde's a trooper and we had such a fun day frolicking in the ocean.  We were lucky enough to get a clear day with enough sunshine to capture this beautiful new collection (and keep us from turning to ice!)
